Praia D. Ana is one of Portugal's favourite family beaches and is only a 5 minute walk from Apartmento Mar.  It is though, not the only beach in this area; the Algarve has nearly one hundred miles of glorious beaches and they don't come any more dramatic than those nearby.

Lagos.  A beautiful, historic town with character that caters for all.  Once Lagos was the port that launched and received many of the ships that gave Portugal its wealth and power.  Apartmento Mar is within a few minutes walk of Lagos.

Surfing.  Whatever direction the wind chooses to blow, you can  guarantee that the surf is up!  Most venues are within 45 minutes drive of Apartmento Mar.  There are numerous Surf Shops that will either hire you the necessary equipment or take you on a 'Surf Safari', providing you expert instruction - all at very reasonable prices and guarenteeing an exciting and fun day out.

Grotto Tours. You can explore the dramatic coastline from sea as well as by foot.  Small fishing boats weave their way in through the various arches and stacks and offer an exciting view of this famous coastline.  There is also the opportunity to indulge in various other watersports including; windsurfing, jet skiing and deep sea fishing.
